PRELIMINARY Ballot
In
accordance to our Governing Bylaws relative to the Election of Officers and
Directors, the Nominating Committee has recommended the following slate of
candidates to the Board of Directors for consideration and approval. The
Board has reviewed and approved the nominations which are now presented to the
general membership as a PRELIMINARY
Ballot. This is not the final ballot but is for informational
purposes only. Additional names may be added to the ballot prior to
Friday, August 22, 2014 by the following procedure:
ARTICLE XI – Officers and Directors
Section 4. Election of Officers and Directors
Additional candidates for the office to be filled may be placed
into nomination by petition signed by at least 20% of REALTOR® Members eligible
to vote. The Secretary shall send notice of such additional nominations
to all members eligible to vote before the election.
A FINAL
BALLOT and the voting process will officially begin on Tuesday, September
2, 2014.
This year’s
election process will be conducted entirely online and electronically through
our board’s web site. Instructions on how to complete this process will
be provided at that time.
Voting will
conclude on Sunday, September 14, 2014. Election results will be
communicated to the membership on Monday, September 15, 2014 and the newly
elected officers and directors will be installed at the Board Luncheon on
Thursday, September 18, 2014. Leadership will officially begin their term
of service on Wednesday, October 1, 2014.
